Monuments and Palindrome
Believe me or not, the only reason why you are getting a newsletter is because at exactly 23:26, I realised that today is 26/06/26 which makes today’s date a Palindrome.
Now, the reason why it won’t get to your box till 23:59 is because I was caught between writing newsletter and posting on Instagram and I spent 20 minutes in the wasteful labyrinth of indecision, and guess who chose to write about nothing?
Yea, that’s me.
Anyways, now that you have read to this extent, let me share three random unrelated things.
I find it very fascinating that someone somewhere can decide on something and it goes on to impact a lot of people. For instance, An hiring manager took a chance on Tony Elumelu and hired him despite not meeting the desired grade and that action has led to monumental impact words can’t describe. I often wonder how many times we are given the opportunity to take an action- an usual action, a kind action, a not so normal action and if we say yes, and how many lives and destinies are hinged on us saying yes or no.
Media’s narrative is REALLY INDESCRIBABLE: If you doubt me, check everything that has been said about Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi over the last two decades. Please dont ask me who is better, I am forever a CR7 fan though.
Isn’t it extremely ludicrous and indescribable that the first lady of one of the most powerful countries in Africa (Yes, despite APC’s extreme incompetence, Nigeria is still the fourth largest country when it comes to Nominal GDP IN Africa) is asking people to make kulikuli and fry maize?
You should have about six minutes or more depending on when you receive this email and where you are located? Do something fun or unusual?
